Yes, that’s me. Not the most glamorous role on the team, but one that you can’t win the championship without. Plenty of pressure but never as much as the closer — or the clean-up hitter in our case.
I used to be a corporate PR guy which I loved, especially my job at Genentech. I worked for a year in high-tech and that was the beginning of the end. Now, I’m a stay-at-hom dad, part-time consultant and jack-of-all trades as long as that doesn’t involve fixing things, bugs or rodents.
When I’m not driving the kids around, being ignored by moms at the park, watching Alex get a tooth pulled or fighting with Ryan that he cannot drive the car, I write this blog, watch baseball (SF Giants, Yankees, Mets), think about Star Wars or wait for the next Foo Fighters album.
I love my family. Every day, every minute, every second, even when all I want to do is watch the playoffs when the games actually happen vs. after everyone goes to bed.
I truly hope you like my blog and thanks for reading. It means the world to me.
